  • $100 Diagnostic Fee after hours and weekends

Add-Ons

Platinum Plan Add-On

$200/yr or $16.67/mo

Add another system to your Soto's Platinum Plan. Cost is per additional unit added to the Soto's Platinum Plan (base package must be purchased).

Gold Plan Add-On

$100/yr or $8.34/mo

Add another system to your Soto's Gold Plan. Cost is per additional unit added to the Soto's Gold Plan (base package must be purchased).

  • Check evaporator coil
  • Check metering device type (if accessible)
  • Check condensate safety control in auxiliary pan
  • Check if condensate drain protection is installed
  • Check if condensate drains are clear
  • Check condensate pump operation
  • Check condensate drain line solution offered
  • Check blower motor amps (rated vs actual)
  • Check blower motor speed
  • Check blower capacitor (rated vs actual)
  • Inspect and tighten electrical connections
  • Check filter type and size
  • Check if filter is clean
  • Check airflow
  • Check if panels are installed, ensure screws are in panels
  • Check for excessive rust or corrosion
  • Check dry bulb return and supply

  • Check contactor and starter
  • Check for excessive motor noise
  • Check ambient temperature and room relative humidity
  • Check suction PSIG and converted saturated temperature
  • Check vapor line/liquid line temperature
  • Check liquid PSIG and converted saturated temperature
  • Check superheat, subcooling, and HGSH


Heat Pump:

  • Ensure all heat strips are operating
  • Check electric heat strip phase and voltage
  • Check electric heat strip total amps and wire size
  • Check outlet BTU (electric/fossil fuel)
  • Check contactor, sequencer, and relay
  • Check electric heat return temp and supply temp
  • Check delta T (electric/fossil fuel)
  • Check defrost control operation
  • Check reversing valve operation
  • Perform mode test


Furnace:

  • Ensure combustion area is clear of combustibles
  • Check fossil fuel type
  • Check fossil fuel inlet BTU and outlet BTU
  • Check gas pressure for inlet and outlet
  • Check burner(s) and flame sensor
  • Test furnace safety controls
  • Check for gas leaks at the furnace
  • Ensure flue is drafting properly
  • Check draft inducer motor for excessive noise
  • Check if CO monitor is present
